Artist Of The Month: MAISI

Introducing your new favourite hyperpop singer, Maisi. Bringing together the sounds of indie, dance, and pop, Maisi crafts dance-ready songs with introspective lyrics. Based in South London, she started writing songs at the age of 11 and eventually fell in love with performing. During lockdown, she shared covers and original demos on TikTok, where she now has over 160 thousand followers. Thanks to TikTok, she was able to build a solid fan base, which continues to grow. 

With a unique production style and authentic lyrics, Maisi sings about navigating adulthood and trying to survive in an online world. Inspired by artists like Charli xcx and The 1975, Maisi is creating music that is honest and original. Every song will make you want to dance, but also rethink every decision ever made. 

Outside of her music, Maisi is the co-founder of Loud LDN, a collective of women and non-binary musicians. Loud LDN started as a simple WhatsApp group to help navigate the industry. Over time, it has transformed into a beautiful community that has taken over the London music scene. With collaborations with Good Karma Club and Spotify's Our Generation, Loud LDN makes a space for the unheard. 

Maisi is also the creator of The Cxnty School Disco. A club night described as “If Charli xcx, RuPaul, and the Spice Girls threw a party.” So far, The Cxnty School Disco has been held across London, featuring DJs like Maia Beth, The Essex Blonde, and Maisi herself. Later this week, she will take to The Nest Stage at Truck Fest and will also be DJing a very special Cunty School Disco. It will be the perfect weekend to catch Maisi doing what she does best.
