Artist of the Month: Baby Said

Baby Said are a sister rock duo based in the UK. Veronica and Jess’s journey started early with the girls picking up a guitar aged 6 and 4. From here they began busking before performing over 200 gigs as covers band Astro Moda. In 2023 Baby Said was born, inspired by their favourite Maneskin song.

At only 20 and 18 the duo have already impacted the UK rock scene. Last summer they played at The Great Escape, Reading and Leeds as well as Victorious. They are a force to be reckoned with that is only getting started.

In 2023 they released their first single ‘Fight’ a rock song full of guitar riffs and killer vocals. From here they developed their sound and released 2 Eps “Who Gives a Rock” and “Mean Girlz”. Their music is full of infectious energy and unapologetic attitude that is found in all their lyrics. This has become the signature sound of the sisters that are evolving in their debut album “BS.”

They already have a packed 2025 with gigs in London, Reading, and an international showcase Focus Wales. Baby Said are a breath of fresh air to music as 2 women who are unapologetically themselves and don’t care what anyone else says or does. At only 20 and 18 it is exciting to see where these sisters go in the future and the heights they will reach.
